Manchester United took on West Ham for the third time this season on Monday evening at the Olympic Stadium in London. As Liverpool dropped points earlier in the day it gave United a perfect oppertunity to get back into the mix in top 4 positions. But even though West Ham were reduced to 10 men inside first 15 minutes Manchester United struggled to create any meaningful chances in first 45 minutes. If anything West ham looked stronger on the counter attacks. After the break United scored twice through Juan Mata and Ibrahimovic to make it 2-0 and secure all three points.
