Mtn 4G LTE subscription now available to every sim

Mtn has made the 4G LTE subscription available for every one. Which means that if you have a normal mtn sim card you can still enjoy 4G features on your device. Without having a Visa phone or sim.

For The Visafone Subscribers
If you were migrated from Visafone to MTN, then you are qualified to use MTN 4G without additional stress. But note that, you won't be able to subscribe to MTN normal data plan, you will be restricted to Visafone’s data plans only. To subscribe, kindly dial *444# and follow the on-screen instructions.

For The MTN Subscribers
If you are a normal MTN subscriber, all you have to do is to swap your MTN sim card for a 4G compatible Sim card. To swap your sim card, kindly visit the nearest MTN store or partner retailer for a SIM swap.

After successful Sim swap, dial *131# to subscribe to any regular MTN data plan and enjoy 4G service on your phone.

To confirm you have successfully swapped your sim

Kindly sms 4G to 131 then Mtn would give you a reply that you are enabled to subscribe for the 4G data plan.

So if your device is compatible, kindly perform a sim swap to 4G to enable you enjoy the features.
